THE RETURN

An 8-week return-to-work programme for women after a career break

Returning to work isn’t only about updating your CV or finding your next role. It’s also about understanding who you are now, rebuilding trust in what you bring, and preparing yourself for the professional world you’re returning to. THE RETURN is a deliberately sequenced eight-week experience designed to support both.

Returning to work after a career break can feel bigger than expected.

You can be ready to return to work and still feel unsure about where you fit now.

Perhaps your career break lasted a year. Perhaps it lasted ten. You may have stepped away to raise a family, relocate, care for someone, or simply because life took you in another direction.

And now you’re thinking about returning. The practical questions often come first.

What do I put on my CV? How do I explain the gap? Where do I even start?

Yet underneath those questions, there is often something else happening. Your relationship with work has changed. Your confidence may feel different. The professional identity you once knew may no longer fit quite as comfortably.

THE RETURN was created for this part of the return-to-work journey.

It gives you the space, structure and support to understand where you are now, rebuild trust in what you bring, and prepare for what comes next — before moving into the practical tools and expert guidance that help you move forward.

Is THE RETURN for you?

THE RETURN is designed for women who are thinking about returning to work after a career break. Whether that break has lasted months or years.

You may be:

  • Starting to think seriously about returning to work, but unsure where to begin.
  • Ready for something more, while still figuring out what that “something” looks like now.
  • Finding that your confidence or professional identity feels different after time away.
  • Wondering how to talk about your career break and the experience you’ve gained during it.
  • Returning after raising a family, relocating, caring for someone or another period away from work.
  • Looking for support, structure and connection rather than trying to navigate the return alone.

HOW THE RETURN WORKS

THE RETURN is designed as a small, supported cohort experience. Combining independent reflection, in-person sessions, expert guidance and connection with women navigating a similar stage of their return.

8 WEEKS

Two connected chapters

Four weeks focused on you and your emotional readiness, followed by four weeks of practical guidance and access to experts.

SMALL COHORTS

A maximum of 10 women

Intentionally kept small to create space for honest conversation, participation and meaningful connection throughout the programme.

ONLINE + IN PERSON

Designed to work around real life

A combination of guided online reflection and live sessions in Dubai, giving you structure without requiring you to be somewhere every day.

BETWEEN-SESSION SUPPORT

A private cohort WhatsApp group

A dedicated space to stay connected, share reflections and continue the conversation between sessions throughout the eight weeks.

You won’t be expected to figure out your return alone.

Hi, I’m Janine, the founder of RETURNready.
